From her interest in crime documentaries to helping schools, academies and MATs with compliance checks, we sat down with the newest member of our team, Lisa Anischenko, to find out about how her Risk Manager journey has gone so far.
Hi Lisa, could you tell us about your job as Senior Sales Consultant?
In my role, I help schools, academies and MATs of all sizes to manage their H&S compliance checks, risk register, assets, and day-to-day tasks. Our system encourages these organisations to become audit ready by staying compliant and mitigating any risk through various operations such as estates, health & safety and procurement. My role consists of building relationships, online and onsite demonstrations, conferences, collecting customers – and I love it!
That’s good to hear! What were your initial thoughts of Risk Manager?
I didn’t know anything about Pagabo Group but having previously worked for a competitor (don’t hate the player!) I’d heard a lot about Risk Manager! I wanted to see what the software was all about and how it varied from the system I was currently providing.
What did you do before joining the company? Any skills that you think will benefit you in your new role?
As above, before joining Risk Manager (RM) I worked for another SAAS company for 5 years. There I learnt the struggles MATs have and how implementing software can help – if it’s done correctly. This massively benefits my new role as I also understand how other Compliance Management systems work – so chicken dinner all round!
So, when you’re not at work, what do you get up to?
Out of work I’m a typical woman enjoying true crime documentaries and shows, musicals, and trying out pints of pale ale from all over the world. I also have a very large collection of tattoos, a wife-to-be and two cats.
What part of your role have you enjoyed so far? Any tasks / projects that stand out?
Learning and demoing the product, collecting new customers, and the MAT Summit conference.
To finish off, what’s the next step in your job that you wish to achieve?
I’m in the early stages of my role, so I’ll go with: RM domination of the education sector!
